Mr JazziQ redefines 0303.

This community has been launched to show the world that there is more to entertainment than we reckon. We are going to expose a whole new world that has not been explored.

03 March 2020, this morning Tumelo Manyoni, better known as Mr JazziQ amongst his peers in the Amapiano scene celebrated his birthday in style and released a body of work titled 0303, led by Hello Mo’girl ft. prolific rapper Focalistic and Busta 929.

This Alexandra born DJ/Producer forms one part of JazziDisciples, a dynamic duo that has taken Amapiano to the next level. The pair took over the streets
Of 2019 with their summer single Sgubhu Se Monati, got the chance to share the stage with Grammy award- winning singer Solange at AFROPUNK

Johannesburg 2019 and were part of Black Coffee’s Music Is King line up.

So when news that JazziQ was releasing an EP outside of the group broke, a couple of us were worried that this might be the end of the road for these
Disciples of piano. The release of the first single “Hello Mo’girl” from the EP would prove that the latter was not true and that the boys are still growing strong. Hello Mo’girl was produced by JazziDisciples but is Mr JazziQ’s single.

This body of work is his take and understanding of the sound, but because his definition is heavily influenced by Josiah De Disciple, who forms half of
JazziDisciples it was no shock to discover that they were both involved in the production of this offering. This body of work features house hold names such as Dali Wonga, Tall Arse Tee and internationally recognised vocalist Moonchild on an instant hit titled Askies.

If this EP is anything to go by this Amapiano pioneer has found yet another niche in the sound that continues to grow despite the odds. 0303 is available at all music stores and will make way for new adventures for this disciple of piano.
