Episode 37: Indigenising Drag Culture with Belinda Qaqamba Ka-Fassie

On this episode we are joined by Miss Drag South Africa 2019, Belinda Qaqamba Ka-Fassie who walks us through drag culture in the country while also imparting insight into the challenges that drag queens face. Belinda talks us through how they have had to assert themselves not only in an African culture that does not condone drag but also in a society that is highly embedded with heteronormative standards.
