Ntombezinhle Jiyane also known as DJ Zinhle (37) has announced on the socials that she’s having a reality show, but little did we know that her surprise had a surprise. She also announced that she’s pregnant with her second baby by famous Bongani Mohosana also known as Murdah bongz (33) from Black motion. The couple started dating in June last year, even so, their relationship was kept under wraps until Bongz announced their relationship in December 2020. After their announcement the couple continued to keep the relationship to themselves.

The couple both have kids outside of their relationship, Zinhle has a 6-year-old daughter (Kairo Forbes) with her ex-boyfriend Kiernan Forbes, professionally known as AKA and Murdah Bongz recently welcomed a baby boy with his ex-girlfriend. It was said that Zinhle didn’t really want a reality show especially during the time of her pregnancy, “however, this time around, I wanted my pregnancy to be different and I wanted to enjoy it with those who I love closely but still have the opportunity to share the experience with her fans later”, she said.

Zinhle took to her Instagram stories explaining how Murdah won her heart. She shared that the two had an instant connection after Murdah wrote a song for her. “I found a vinyl record from my old collection. On the cover was a letter I wrote to my dad after he died in 2010. I don’t remember writing that letter, but I was super emotional when I found it. Bongani took the record, sampled it and made a song for me,” She wrote.

Zinhle’s close friends Pearl Thusi, Moozlie and Thabsie were very much relieved and happy that she finally shared her good news with the public. They shared their comments on social media congratulating the couple and also mentioning how happy they are that the secret is “FINALLY” out. “Thank you for your love and blessings. Bongani and I are so happy. God bless you all” she wrote on her twitter time line after getting good responses from the public.

Zinhle has always been a “private” celebrity, Zinhle is known for her hard work in the business industry and the music industry Zinhle’s reality show, ‘The Unexpected’ on BET Africa channel 129, will be giving the public an opportunity to know who she really is outside of her career and friends. Fans are very excited to be welcomed into her private life. “I have a lot of mixed emotions. I’m super stressed about opening my life to people in this way because its something I’ve never done. However, I’m also excited about the opportunity to tell my story in my way and let people in my life in my own way”, Zinhle explained. The reality show will have appearances by Zinhle’s close friends, and she will be addressing social and the cultural pressures about marriage. She also warns fans to be on the “look out for a lot of emotions and information that you wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else because I don’t talk about my life that much. So, there will be a lot of things that you start to understand about me that you maybe didn’t understand because you are so close to me”. The reality show premiers on Saturday 18 September 2021 at 19H30 CAT.

However not everyone is excited about her pregnancy, some people took to Twitter dragging her down to the ground about having her second child with a different men out of wedlock. “We celebrate/congratulate a woman who is expecting her second child with two different men yet still unmarried. It shows how dysfunctional we are as a society and keep creating future problems today. I will celebrate the child when she/he is born and not the mother,” wrote @Uncle Solomon on twitter. And even though more to it like this came flooding she remained positive in her clap back writing on Twitter “Allowing yourself to get into an argument with a fool makes you foolish to. Choose your battles…”.

Ever since Zinhle announced her pregnancy she’s has been socially focusing more on her brand and career than her personal life. She recently opened a new shop “ Era by Dj Zinhle” at the Mall of Africa with Moozlie helping her to launch it. She also dropped a #SpicySmokeyFusion song, titled ‘Intombi yomuntu’ on the Macdonald’s app. She has also been working on promoting her “Hair Majesty” hair brand with Jessica Nkosi and Thabsie. The name of the hair brand was inspired the her Hit Song ‘My Name Is’ ft Busiswa which dropped back in 2012. The song seems to be coming back up on the charts because of the re-branding.
