M.Phasha, labelled “Limpopo’s hidden gem” by popular blog Texx and the City, is an alternative artist with a music foundation of Hip-Hop and a music range from local to international sounds. M.Phasha uses his various influences to signature his own sound and share it with the world, being creative and giving a unique listening experience.
Bipolar Love, being the first official single released by M.Phasha is his light hearted production on the debut project ‘My Demo’, the single is poetic and also the first music video instalment in his career. Bipolar Love, is a back and forth of emotions that one has after the ending of a relationship, going through the positives and negatives, the bitter and the sweet, giving compliments but also giving conflicting ideas and feelings, a show of polar opposite sentiments.
The music video is a representation of the conflicting dynamic of love through M.Phasha and Nthabeleng’s performance, the contrast is also represented through the colours red and blue as these colours are normally perceived as opposites. The song being part of the 3 Act project ‘My Demo’, coming off “Act 1: Heartbreak Section” which is represented by the colour red, is the beginning of a story line with more to follow. Blue is the main colour of the project as it represents the kind of emotions M.Phasha was experiencing when making the project.
