Wizkid, the multi-Platinum selling Nigerian icon, has made his much-anticipated return with a brand-new single, “Piece of My Heart,” featuring American R&B sensation Brent Faiyaz. Released via Starboy/Sony Music International/RCA Records, the single is accompanied by an official video directed by Lonewolf, capturing the duo in the breathtaking French mansion, Chateau de Neuville, before jetting off to a lavish party.
The single will be part of Wizkid’s highly personal forthcoming sixth studio album, Morayo, set to drop on November 22, 2024. Dedicated to his late mother, the album title Morayo, which means “I see joy” in Yoruba, promises to be a heartfelt tribute.

This release follows a series of high-profile appearances, including Wizkid’s performance at the BOF 500 Gala and his presence, alongside Brent, at Paris Fashion Week’s Chanel show. Fans were also treated to an intimate first listen of the new single at a Ladies Only party in London.
Wizkid continues to build on his legacy, following the success of his 2022 album More Love, Less Ego. His career-defining moments include his Grammy-nominated album Made in Lagos (2020), featuring the global smash hit “Essence” with Tems, which became the first Nigerian song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
