Groove Cartel SA is proud to announce the addition of Tumilemang MC as its newest co-host, a move that promises to bring fresh energy and a unique perspective to the platform. Known for his dynamic presence as an event MC and smooth delivery as an Amapiano vocalist, Tumi Lemang has already made his mark on South Africa’s entertainment scene. Now, he’s ready to take his talents to a whole new level, right on the Groove Cartel stage.
Speaking on this new chapter, Tumi Lemang shares just how monumental this opportunity feels to him:
“With excitement, it’s overwhelming. It’s a big milestone for me, definitely a game changer for my career,” he says.
Beyond just presenting, Tumilemang sees this as a journey of self-discovery and growth.
“Firstly, the world will know who Tumilemang is,” he says with a smile. “Secondly, it’s a cultural journey that will enable me to tap in more, explore, and learn a lot about my career path, and actually showcase my abilities from stages to the camera.”
Having built a name for himself as a performer, it’s no surprise that he plans to bring that same magnetic energy to Groove Cartel’s platform:
“The same energy I spark on stage will be worldwide on the Groove Cartel space. As an artist familiar with sound and keeping the crowd entertained, I’ll make sure to elevate the screens.”
But fans can expect even more than just good vibes, Tumi Lemang hints at surprises in store:
“Funny thing is, a lot of people don’t know that I was once a radio presenter on a local platform. Also, I’m a dancer, performer, and have music out. Speaking of surprises or personal touches, I might even perform on one of the episodes,” he says, laughing softly.
When asked what Groove Cartel SA means to him, especially as someone deeply rooted in the Amapiano scene, Tumilemang responds with heartfelt sincerity:
“Groove Cartel means a lot to me. It uplifts new talent, uplifts real talent, it’s not biased, and it’s a movement true to its journey that doesn’t only put artists on, but creates and inspires others to work toward achieving their creativity.”
With Tumi Lemang MC now part of the Groove Cartel family, audiences can expect an even more exciting and authentic experience, blending music, culture, and personality in a way that only he can deliver. Check out the interview below, because this is just the beginning.
