Former Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp, has been linked with a possible move to Spanish La Liga Giants, Real Madrid. Klopp, who announced a break from football activities after parting ways with Liverpool, has been rumoured to be the next boss at Madrid as current manager, Carlo Ancelotti fights to keep his job
While announcing that the 2023-24 season would be his final one at Anfield last January, Klopp left the door open to a return to management but promised that he would never manage another club in England, leading to speculation that the German mentor could be on his way to Los Blancos.
“I will not manage a club or a country at least for a year, that’s not possible, I cannot do that and I don’t want to. That’s all. What I know definitely, I will never, ever manage a different club in England than Liverpool, 100 per cent. That’s not possible.”
Klopp has had a very impressive run at Liverpool in the nine (9) years that he was in charge, having won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, two League Cups and Club World Cup.
Since his link to Madrid, there have been various speculations regarding what he will do.
However, his manager, Marc Kosicke, has gone on to pour cold water on the hot rumours and reiterated that he is happy in his current role at Red Bull, a job he started in January 2025.
“Jurgen is very happy with his new role as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull,” he said.
