Former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane, has been nominated as an assistant coach for the South African national football team Bafana Bafana at the 2025 Cosafa Cup. In March 2024, Letsholonyane was appointed as an assistant coach for Amajita, the South African U-20 men’s national team, under head coach Raymond Mdaka. His role involved mentoring young talents and preparing them for upcoming competitions, including the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
