Control Magazine already provides thousands of potential customers from all over the country. Control Magazine will also be expanding to other African countries in the future (TBA). Mission.

Our mission is very simple: we want to see more people from the continent of Africa participate in this industry on a global scale. You don't need to move to London, Tokyo, Paris or New York to make your visionary dreams possible.

In the long term we expect participating merchants to stand on their own. Control Magazine hopes particpating merchants will use this as a learning experience on how to manage and continue building their brand. We have partnered with digital infrastructure consultants to help merchants make the transition from our platform to their own.

How to get started.

The Control Magazine e-commerce platform is currently a pilot program and is by invite only. If you have been invited to participate:

  • Fill out the application form telling us why you would like to be on our platform.
  • We will review your application and let you know whether or not you have been accepted or declined.
  • If you have been declined and would like to know why please email us with your application ID attached.
  • If you have been accepted for the program, we will send you a link by email to login to the backend dashboard.
  • The dashboard is where you will be able to list products, check analytics, reviews and reports. Documentation will be provided online.

Product Purchase.

When a product is purchased from your store, the funds are deposited to Control Magazine until the order is fulfilled. Automatic payments are made every 30 days to an account specified by the merchant or a manual withdrawal of funds can be made at any time.

Logistics.

We are partnering with logistics firms to provide easy shipments for all merchants. For the eager customer, we'll provide over night shipping. Our partners will pick up ordered items from merchants and deliver them to their respective customers. Merchants don't have to worry about warehousing costs or costly shipping fees to get their products to market.

Terms & Conditions

Control Magazine bears the responsibility and maintenance of all digital infrastructure platforms it operates. Control Magazine employs a commission fee of 11.5% per product sold of which 2.5% is for processing payments. Manual withdrawals of funds are FREE. Threshold for manual withdrawals is R750. The remaining percentage is used for maintenance and marketing. As a merchant you are responsible for providing customer support and Control Magazine bears no responsibility on a merchants behalf relating to items purchased. If a merchant uses their own logistics solution, Control Magazine bears no responsibility on any unforeseen circumstances arising from failed delivery or damaged products.
