SONG AROUND THE WORLD EP SERIES

Yashna International is back with a boatload of brand new music, after recently graduating with a Diploma from the Los Angeles Academy for Artists and Music Production (LAAMP), in Contemporary Popular Music, Songwriting, and Production.

LAAMP is founded by GRAMMY-winning production duo Stargate, who have produced critically acclaimed hit songs for the likes of Neyo, Beyonce’, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Coldplay to mention a few. In the one year program students were placed in groups weekly, and had to deliver a song at the end of each week. The groups consisted of creatives around the globe, whilst being mentored by some of the best creatives that the music industry has to offer.

To sum up the exciting news, Yashna is ready to share some of the brilliant music created in her time at LAAMP, by presenting it in the form of a 3-part EP series titled Song Around The World (SATW). Emotions, Experimentals, and Essentials are set to release 2 weeks apart in the month of September, with the first release being September 1st 2023

Emotions is the first instalment of the 3-part EP series. At the end of June 2023, Yashna faced some health issues, as she was diagnosed with a case of Bell’s Palsy. The artwork precedes the music in that the image presented in it was taken during the unfortunate time, portraying Yashna in all her vulnerability. The music found on this project shares some of the artist’s deepest thoughts, and feelings, through heart shifting lyrics and melodies, flowing directly into the aforementioned.

Emotions includes collaborators based in America, Finland, Brazil, Australia, and the UK, with the sound rooted in an array of sombre genres.

The second EP is titled Experimentals, this is an EP curated for all open minded music lovers! Yashna being a multi-genre artist, prides herself on this EP, as an ode to the experimental creative within. The genres on this EP range from Pop Rock to Brazilian Funk. A flavourful compilation to say the least, featuring collaborators from Slovakia, Australia, Brazil, and America.

The third and final EP is titled Essentials, and includes commercial songs that are easy on the ear, timeless, and simply essential. It speaks on everyday life, love, & relationships. A perfect palette cleanser from the sombre Emotions, and wild Experimentals EP. This project includes collaborators from Zimbabwe, Slovakia, America, Australia, Brazil, and the UK.

After what seems like a 1 year hiatus for most of Yashna’s fans, the artist is back, guns blazing! Having spent the last year collaborating with people all around the world, it is only befitting to share a piece of her experience with her valued listeners. This is just the beginning of more music to come from this multi-genre gem!
