“iPlan” by Dlala Thukzin, Zaba & Sykes continues to be the biggest single in the country as they chart on the various digital streaming platforms, the official audio on YouTube has reached over 2.2 million views.
This is a major accolade for Dlala Thukzin as it showcases his 3rd instalment of the EP series, “Permanent Music” which consists of a variety of sounds all explored through 5 tracks.
He now extends the reach of the single “iPlan” with the official music video, shot by Fortune Films in the beautiful landscapes of KZN and directed by a close friend of Dlala Thukzin, Sphe famously known as ‘Skits by Sphe’.
The “iPlan” visuals explore the story of a man that is stuck between a rock and a hard place as the economy just doesn’t seem to accommodate the youth with job opportunities.
After spending time at home looking for an opportunity to improve his state of life, he received a call from his girlfriend who had a problem that needed money and surprisingly his reply was “Don’t worry, I will make a plan”.
He took control of this difficult position by sourcing a job, which he ended up getting it.
As the story develops, he finds a job cleaning a music studio where he sneakily starts working on a project.
Getting caught producing works in his favour as this creates the opportunity for a record deal.
The visuals are quite stunning as they represent a situation that many youth members across South Africa can resonate with.
It gives us hope in knowing that if you are truly determined to change the state of your life, things can eventually come together, and you can find success.
