Mohamed Salah with New Contract Extension

Liverpool Football Club has officially confirmed that star forward Mohamed Salah has signed a new two-year contract extension, securing his stay at Anfield until 2027. The deal marks a significant moment in the club’s recent history, as they manage to retain one of their most iconic players amid interest from top clubs worldwide.
The 32-year-old Egyptian, who joined the Reds from AS Roma in 2017, has been instrumental in Liverpool’s domestic and European success. With this extension, Salah is poised to complete a decade at the club, cementing his legacy as a modern-day Liverpool legend.
According to reports, Salah’s new deal is worth around £400,000 per week, including performance-related bonuses. This makes him one of the highest-paid players in Premier League history. Despite receiving lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, Salah made the decision to remain with Liverpool, reaffirming his loyalty and ambition to win more silverware with the team.
“This is a special moment for me,” Salah said after putting pen to paper. “Liverpool is home. We’ve built something incredible here over the past few years, and I still believe we can achieve even more together.”
Salah’s current form has been nothing short of extraordinary. He has scored 32 goals and contributed 22 assists in all competitions this season, leading the Premier League’s Golden Boot race. His influence on the pitch has been crucial in Liverpool’s push for a 20th league title, and he continues to deliver in the biggest moments.
