After years of crafting some of the country’s biggest anthems from behind the scenes, Ba Straata hitmaker Visca is stepping into his own light with the release of Ngizojabula, with Zee_nhle featuring Cuba Beats. A refreshing blend of nostalgic house influences and the vibrant pulse of Amapiano, the single reimagines Spirit Chaser’s These Tears with a bold, soulful twist.
Produced during the genre-bending wave of 2021 but perfected only recently, Ngizojabula finds its emotional centre in the soaring vocals of rising star Zee_nhle. “I knew instantly she was the right one for it,” Visca says of their studio sessions. Her heartfelt performance elevates the track from a simple remake to a powerful, feel-good anthem about hope and healing.
“People have amazing memories attached to the original,” Visca explains. “I want them to feel that same comforting energy, that everything will eventually come together. Happiness is the motto.”
Born Abel Vusi Molapo in Brits, Visca’s journey has taken him from local DJing to global stages, with collaborations alongside DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, and Young Stunna, among others. His fingerprints are all over Amapiano’s biggest hits, but Ngizojabula marks a new chapter, one where he steps confidently to the forefront.
Fresh off the success of his recent album I Made It, Visca proves once again why he’s a force in South African music.
Stream “Ngizojabula” now on all platforms and feel the energy.
